I think that we need a little bit of a moderator. Not that our discussions are out of hand, but just to keep things organized - like the debate talk in the punching bag should have been moved to msufa events, or something completely different. Some people may avoid that category and therefore never see the talk about meeting for the debate...Just an idea. How do all of you feel about it??

[deleted] that! I don't want no [deleted] moderator on this [deleted] board. They can go shove a [deleted] in their [deleted] [deleted] [deleted] polar bear [deleted] in a [deleted] [deleted] sock!
But that's just [deleted] my opinion.

I would have no aversion to this. I even volunteer to moderate, except I think there are more qualified people out there in the ways of internettery. I've mistakenly put posts in the wrong location, from time to time, so I can understand why it happens-no abuse of responsibility or degeneration of content, just simple human error in placement and lack of foresight, but I also agree that a moderator would greatly decrease the events of those errors and would be our best bet to increasing cogency and order-not that I neccesessarily think we are extremely lacking in cogency and error, but there is certainly room to improve.

I have realized I don't have the moderator password(or whatever it is I need), if someone has it, please get it to me discreetly, and I will take upon myself the mantle of moderating. Thank you.

Ben, you have to update the clock in your own profile. The board is updated, just not you.

Not so fast, Laura ... the board time is indeed incorrect. We have never had to switch the time on the board in our own profiles to account for DST before ... there is a board setting either controlled by the MSUFA account or by proboards, either way, there should be a way to correct this.

Hmm..well I had noticed that very thing myself, and attempted to find a way to correct it. Perhaps I overlooked something though...doesn't hurt to check.

if there is no setting through the admin acct., then I guess proboards is slow on the draw ... you might want to email them.

If anyone's still having issues with the time, there is a "time offset" option just under the other time setting. do +1 and it'll fix it....until spring...

yeah, i think most people are aware of this. i know i am. my only concern was that when you aren't logged in, it is an hour off. not really a big deal, just more of a convenience thing if it was always correct

There doesn't look to be a way to change it from our side....we'll have to live with it, I guess.
