Wow,
thats all I have to say.
that and I'm glad you did this, for I sure wouldn't want anyone to see a cartoon and get offended. Because people who are offended by anti-bush cartoons are definitly the people I want as friends. Because you know, if I was going to offend them by posting this link, I see how WHERE it was posted would really give them a better image of our group. *sigh*

Exactly. If we really wanted to censor anyone, we could remove all sorts of posts from the boards, or even block troublesome members. We are trying to be mindful of the fact that we purport ourselves to be freethinkers, open-minded and rational. Maybe it wasn't necessary to move the thread from where it was, but it certainly doesn't merit any sniping.

*sigh* Obviously, we need more pandering to the right in America...
I think Dan's objection was more so the trivial nature of moving something potentially offensive to what would effectively be "three inches to the right" in the non-cyber world. Besides, nothing in that cartoon was offensive - except carving a cross into that poor ferret's forehead and making him a republican.
