macombdaily.com/stories/121504/sta_christ001.shtmlHere is why this pisses me off: "In Terrebonne Parish, La., an organization is petitioning to add "Merry Christmas" to the red-lighted "Seasons Greetings" sign on the main government building" "A Raleigh, N.C., church recently paid $7,600 for a full-page newspaper ad urging Christians to spend their money only with merchants who include the greeting "Merry Christmas" in ads and displays." I realized you guys are probably tired of talking about this, but this is the punching bag so... My fear is that a majority of people believe this and think it is a good idea, which is why he have nativity scenes in front of city buildings.

I don't think we ever get tired of this. Pissed off, yes, filled with dismay, yes, filled with a seething disappointment in the entire human race, yes. Well, you get my point.
So yeah...now they are starting to act like the persecuted ones, hmm? It's not enough that they are the majority, now they have to be incredibly annoying too.

so, in response we should not shop in places that have merry christmas displayed, i think that seems fair, it will in no way make up for the large amount of stupid christians, but at least i know i won't be supporting them with my 'dollar vote' as my high school economics teacher liked to say

exactly what Laura said. They are acting like they are being persecuted. cry me a f-in river. If they are so persecuted, why is that I have to hide my beliefs (or the ambivalance of) from most people that I know? I think if they really want to know what persecution is, we should turn them into slaves.
